Food for thought

On Monday Mikaela came to Gilberthorpe School. Mikaela works at the heart foundation.

She told us what is good for  you what is not. Also we learnt how to read the labels and how much sugar we are supposed to have a day. The group was in was with Nevaeh, Chelsea my Mum and I. 

We got given a sheet of paper with things we had to find Everyday food and Occasional. It was confusing and stressful, but it was fun. At the end we got a lunch box and a magnet whiteboard. I learnt that Whole Seed muesli bars are good for you and porridge is not good for you because the sugar is over 5. Also if it has nuts it is good for you. 

This was fun to do and a big thank you to Mikaela for teaching us this and Sue the pak n save owner for giving us a $60 voucher for our class.

Recount of my dream (The cardboard treehouse)

One there was a girl who loved to eat ice cream along with her brother Lukas. They had the same favourite flavour: Strawberry chocolate chip one. Then Lukas and I caught a bus to the U.S.A  the bus was blue one with a hamburger on it. It took ages to get there over two days 5 hours 37 minutes and 2 seconds. I was at a bus stop when I arrived. I trended across the road like I knew the place then suddenly I walked into a random persons front yard and started to build a treehouse out of cardboard. First I thought that why should I go into someone's house and make a treehouse. Then Lukas and I walked back down the road and got ice cream and Lukas made a bed out of ice cream and I stuck mine on the roof. The sun was setting and we were tired so we slept in the cardboard tree house with an ice cream bed and delicious ice cream on the roof then me and Lukas watched T.V and ate some ice cream and popcorn. by the time it was midnight we were in a deep sleep sleeping.

What I learnt this week in maths

Christmas animation (not finished)

Hey bloggers I made this Animation with my friend Kirsty and it was really fun and it is not finished yet. I will finish it another time and I hope I get better at it. I have no idea what to do next for the animation but all as I know it is going to be about christmas (obviously)

Creating a new Google logo

Bonjour bloggers, I have been learning to create my own logo. It was really fun and I recreated the Google logo but before you did it you had to watch a video about it first then we had to try to create a new Google logo I thought it was quite hard at first but then I created it and this is my new google logo... if you want to try to create you own logo here is the link Google logo creation

next time I think that I am going to do a theme for the logo  for this one I just did anyone of them I think that is is very amazing my favourite one letter in Google is G because it looks really cool and it stands out.
